Nobilitas Bestiarum

A fictional royal bestiary imagined through classical painting, AI image-making and art direction.

The project began in 2023 with a simple prompt: “portrait of a frog in an oil painting.” What started as an experiment became the seed of a larger visual world, a royal family of beasts, built through image generation, curation, iteration and fictional worldbuilding.

Nobilitas Bestiarum explores how artificial intelligence can be used not as a shortcut, but as a visual discipline: a way to construct atmosphere, hierarchy, character and myth through art direction.
